JESUS, Our Healer
On March 22nd, SK, Jaslyn, and I set out for street evangelism. Before heading out, we prayed together. During that time, SK received a vision of flowing water that abruptly stopped, followed by an image of a dried flower. Jaslyn felt led to a specific mall, while I saw a person sitting at a table with a kettle, appearing lost and seeking a solution to a problem. The scene reminded me that it could be a cafe within the mall Jaslyn had been directed to. We proceeded to the mall, and decided to begin our search at the basement food court. There, SK noticed an elderly woman sitting alone, drinking soup. She felt a prompting that the dried flower in her vision might symbolize an elderly person. We approached the woman, asking if we could join her. She was a friendly Christian lady, and during our conversation, she revealed that she had heart problems and wears a pacemaker. She explained that her medication had shifted her heart rhythm from slow to fast, and she also struggled with an autoimmune condition. Despite these challenges, she was actively supporting her niece and friends who were unwell. Due to her autoimmune issues, she often felt exhausted and limited in what she could do. When I asked if she felt desperate about her limitations, she initially said no, but then admitted to feeling hopeless, helpless, and desperate. I shared with her that the Holy Spirit would fill her like rain, enabling her to encourage and minister to others, and that she would bloom like a flower, overcoming feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. I also shared my own experience of God healing me from an autoimmune condition and offered her Psalm 1:1-3 as encouragement. SK prayed for her physical healing and encouraged her to walk at God’s pace. Jaslyn shared her vision of a branch connected to a tree, reminding her of John 15:4. Each of us took turns praying for the woman, and in return, she prayed for us. We felt that this encounter was a shared treasure for all three of us. SK noted that the steaming hot soup in the metal bowl resembled the kettle from my vision.
Heal the wounded hearts
Date: 22- March-2025 I went to a pet shop at Roxy Square to meet Carol and Ruth. Before I entered into the shop, I saw the word “Luke” in Uncle Thomas name. Out of curiosity, I asked him if his name is Luke. That’s when he started to tell me his parents heritage are Jews, he knew about the Torah, he knew about the bible because his helper attends a Catholic church. I told him yes, I heard of Torah, but it is not complete as there is a New Testament, and that Jesus is the Messiah, the resurrected God, who came to heal the sick and the brokenness and set the people free. He then told me that he was looked down by customers who patronize his pet shop but did not really buy anything and even threw sarcastic remarks at him. After talking for some time, Carol and I actually wanted to invite him to church but he mentioned he doesn’t want to burden other people in the church to help him up in church. Before we left, we prayed for him. I felt the Lord wanted to heal his wounded heart and reconfirmed again his name as Luke. So, I lead him in prayer to accept the Holy Spirit to come into his heart so that he will be illuminated in his mind to know that Jesus is the resurrected God, the same God today, 2000 yrs ago and the days to come. And He is a miracle working God. After I finished praying, Uncle Thomas cried. I believe that day, Holy Spirit is working in his heart. On the way back to church, Padma and I went to the female restroom above the NTUC at Katong V. I was looking for paper towel after washing my hands but could not find it. I was about to go off, an Indian lady standing next to me (who is wearing NTUC uniform) told me that it is hidden below the mirror. I thanked her and commented to her that she is beautiful and if she was a beauty pageant before. She smiled and said no. I asked her what is she working as at NTUC as I noticed she was wearing an apron, thinking she could be helping at the butcher counter. She replied she works at the vegetables side. I casually asked her if she is staying in the east side of Singapore. She answered she lives in Johor and daily commute in and out between Johor and Singapore and has to goes out of her house as early as 4am every day because she starts work as 8am. Before I left, I asked her if I could prayed for her and she agreed. I sensed that she has hurt in her heart and pray for God to heal her hurt and heal the relationship in her family. Padma was my translator and prayed in Tamil to her. She cried after we prayed for her. We told her where we are from, and if she is free on Sunday or Saturday, she can come to visit us.
Pray for the blood level issues
Date: 26-Apr-25 Agnes, Sharon and I prayed for God’s download before we started out our PEM on the street. Both Agnes and Sharon saw a picture of fountains, while I saw checked designs, not sure if they were on shirts or pants. So, we headed out to look for fountains and landed at i12 Katong. We went around the mall then Agnes suggested to go down to level 2 to target at domestic maids who were sitting outside the tuition centers waiting for the children to finish their tuition. There, Agnes and Sharon saw a young couple and approached them. I was sitting behind them, talking to a Vietnamese lady who was like listening to music on her mobile. I casually asked her if she was waiting for her children, thinking that she was a domestic maid. But she replied she was waiting for her son to finish a birthday celebration somewhere near i12 Katong. Initially, I thought I heard wrongly (as my mind was still thinking that she could be a domestic maid). When I found out she is from Hanoi, I began to strike up a common language with her, commenting how nice and beautiful SAPA is. That’s where she felt relaxed and began to share more, for instance we asked for her name (She’s Linda), whether if she converses Chinese more or English more to her children, and if she is working here, how old are her children, etc. She replied she is a childcare teacher at Chai Chee, and she converses English to her children while her husband speaks Chinese to them. Before we ended our conversation, we asked if we could pray for her, she said yes. That’s where she told us although her house is idol-worship god, she has heard about our God because her son is studying at St Steven’s primary school. So, while I was praying, I saw the word “blood level”. I prayed along the word that God has given me, prayed for Jesus to heal her family member if her mother has any blood issues, and pray for God’s blessing to bless her husband in finances and his work. After praying, we saw tears welled up around her eyes. And when we asked her how she felt, she held back from sharing her feelings. We believe she is touched. Agnes told her that if she has any issues, she can call out Jesus’ name for help. As we depart from i12 Katong and walking back to Cornerstone church, Sharon suddenly shouted out that she noticed that the daughter of the Vietnamese Lady, Linda, was wearing a checked skirt. Praise the Lord!
Matters of the Heart
As JC, GT, and CL gathered in prayer, they received the words: KS Mall, a green flower stem with a white flower, heart issue, and St. John’s Ambulance. As they made their way toward KS Mall, JC noticed some plants along the path with green stems and white flowers, drawing GT and CL attention to this detail. Upon arriving at KS Mall, they struck up a conversation with a gentleman manning a booth at the flea market. However, after speaking with him, they sensed that he was not the treasure they were looking for. GT then suggested going up one floor. CL, recalling a previous visit with SK, wanted to take a moment to greet a stall owner they had spoken with before. During that earlier visit, CL and SK had given the lady a prophetic card that included the word “heart.” At the time, the lady mentioned she had no heart-related concerns, which left CL feeling somewhat discouraged, as none of the words in the card seemed to resonate with her. This time, GT—who had never met the lady before—began chatting with her. As they spoke, GT felt prompted to share the phrase “heart issue.” Once again, the lady insisted she had no physical or emotional heart issues. At that moment, CL remembered the prophetic card and reminded the lady about it. As the lady could not recall the card or its words, they were about to move on when JC, with sharp eyes, spotted the very card displayed in the stall’s showcase. As the conversation continued, the lady unexpectedly shared that over 20 years ago, she had experienced deep hurt from someone. She assured them that she had already forgiven the person. GT gently encouraged her into verbally professing and releasing forgiveness over the person. The lady willingly confessed her forgiveness, bringing closure to this long-past wound, as she joyfully declared that she wants to be set free. As they reflected on the encounter, they marveled at how the Holy Spirit had revealed the word “heart” twice—first through the prophetic card and again through the word to GT. It was no coincidence but rather a divine confirmation that God was tenderly pursuing this lady’s heart, bringing healing to a wound she had long carried. Truly, God is a loving and relentless pursuer of hearts, revealing His words in perfect timing to set His children free.
Divine Detour
Before heading out for the treasure hunt, SK and CL prayed and received visions and impressions of a mall, seashells, a heart, rows of flowers, closed shutters, and a kangaroo (impression: moving forward). Based on these visions, our initial thought was to visit the florist at the mall. As we were heading to the florist, we made our way up the escalator, and a stall caught our eye. There, amidst all the usual sights, were stools that looked like seashells. However, as we took a closer look, we realized they were actually made from twirled reed material. As we continued to inspect the stools, we noticed some colorful beaded bags. The intricate beadwork on them resembled flower arrangements, with some even featuring flower designs. The bags were vibrant and eye-catching, drawing us in immediately. We ended up striking up a conversation with the friendly owner of the shop. She shared with us that she is a permanent resident here in Singapore and is seeking citizenship. Her first application has been unsuccessful. She had paid an agent to handle the application, and the cost covered two attempts. She plans to apply again in the near future. She spoke about the power of the Singaporean passport, which allows for easy travel to many countries without the need for visas. As our conversation continued, the topic of citizenship shifted to something deeper as SK shared with her about a greater citizenship, the Kingdom of Heaven. It turned out that she was a believer too, though she had not been attending church regularly. She told us that she had been drawn to churches in the area but had yet to settle on one. We took a moment to pray for her. We prayed for her citizenship application, her business, and her family. As we prayed, we could see tears welling up in her eyes. There was something powerful about the moment, and we truly believe that God is waiting for His children to return to Him. It was one of those unexpected encounters that reminded us that God is always working in the background, drawing hearts back to Him—even through the most ordinary circumstances. We are thankful for that brief, yet meaningful connection.
Feeling a burden for others around me
Today, I felt a slight burden for one of the staff members that I met at a store. I felt like his work situation and life circumstances may be a bit tough. It wasn’t a Word of Knowledge yet, but it was the start of something. If I had the courage to start speaking to him, I think I would have received more and been able to continue conversing with him, as the Lord led. In another store, I felt led to speak to an older staff lady. She happened to be friendly and open to conversation. I did feel impressed to ask if she were Singaporean, but shied away from that because I didn’t feel it could be an apt moment to ask. She ended up asking me that question instead and that opened up the conversation. I learnt from these 2 experiences to not think too much and just “go”. I could trust my gut instinct, and Holy Spirit impressions. Even if I make a mistake, the most is I would receive is a rejection to continue speaking. Nothing too bad would happen. If I were bold however, I could get to the point of sharing Christ. I felt encouraged that sensing the Spirit is getting easier and I’m becoming a little more sensitive.
Following the Lord
Today, October 5th, I was teamed up with Brother Gerard. I was excited to see how the Lord would lead us and to learn more about the art of PE. We initially set out to visit Mr. S, whom Sister J and I had met last Saturday. However, when we arrived, his shop was closed. As we continued, we passed by the two famous banana pie shops, both with long queues. We noticed a family who had bought pies from both shops to compare, inspired by the Banana Pie Feud episode on CNA Insider. Brother Gerard struck up a conversation with them, starting with pies, moving on to careers, and eventually sharing what he felt the Lord wanted to say – extending His love and blessings. They welcomed our prayers, and we could see that they were deeply touched by the Lord. Next, we visited Peter’s Place, where Brother Gerard bought some snacks. This opened a brief opportunity to chat with the boss. A seed was sown, and we trust that we will return to water it soon. On level 1, we spotted a shop with no signboard. A lady was busy baking, and then a man, Mr. A, entered with his two children. Even though we had just passed by the shop, we felt led to turn back and see what they were selling—empanadas! Mr. A wore a FC Barcelona cap, and football quickly became a topic between Brother Gerard and him. They both had connections to St. Patrick’s School and shared common friends. A friendship was forged, and the ground was prepared for future encounters where the seeds could be watered. I was amazed by how God orchestrated this meeting. At level 2, we came across a unit where Ms. E and her helper were busy preparing products for a pop-up booth at Takashimaya. Brother Gerard approached Ms. E, and after a brief chat, he shared with her the words he felt God wanted to release over her situation. He conveyed that God was standing with her during this time, offering His protection. Ms. E expressed how much comfort and encouragement this brought her as a child of God (Isaiah 50:4). We prayed for God’s favor and protection over her, her family, and her business. As we moved to another part of the building, Brother Gerard asked me, “What did you feel?” I knew he was referring to a shop we had passed, which had a large picture of an idol on the window and sold amulets. I responded, “Eerie.” There was a strong sense of evil that seemed to say, “Don’t mess with me.” We prayed in the Spirit, covering ourselves with the precious blood of Jesus. I thanked God for His constant protection, knowing that the One who is in us is greater than the one in the world. On our way back to church, Brother Gerard shared how he and his wife began their journey of practicing and following the voice of God. Although we didn’t have time to finish the conversation, I look forward to hearing the rest of his testimony the next time we go out on the streets.
Sharing at the Foodcourt
When I prayed with my partner the first time, we both had no downloads. Then we prayed again. I saw the face of the Korean stall helper at a nearby foodcourt. So we went to the foodcourt. We had the opportunity to speak and pray for the Chinese lady whose face i saw. She was quite friendly and accepted our prayers. We also gave her the cornerstone card and invited her to attend the Chinese service.
Encouraged a helpless mother
During the prophetic outreach, the Lord impressed upon my heart a fountain fall with water gushing out & I shared this vision with Sau Kuen, Agnes & Avas who were my teammates before setting out. During the search for treasures, we found a little fountain fall with water vapors blowing out of streamers (dehumidifier) inside a shop. Sau Kuen asked Jeremy whether we could consider it, so they took faith & went in. We befriended a young divorcee mother & her daughter. Through the conversation, we know that she has Christian friends who encouraged her to believe in Jesus, but she felt that she was not ready yet. Subsequently, we found out that she was going through a court case over the custody of her children. This really concerns her as she is uncertain of the legal process and worried that she will lose the custody. To this, Avas mentioned if she needs help on legal matter, she can whatapp us using the PE number so that proper advice can be arranged with our fulltime staff. I also shared a Card with Bible verse from Ephesians 2:7 that it is by the grace & not by works that save us through God’s salvation of redemption. We manage to encourage her that God knows her situation & ask her to be strong. We did a prayer for her & blessed her with God’s presence & peace in her. Truly, what divine encounter and we plan to follow up with her on our next visit soon!
A seed has been planted
Glory and I were teamed up to go for an outreach on 28 Sep. We prayed before we went. Glory asked me whether I felt anything after the prayer. I told her that I saw a vision of a lady in a blue uniform holding a mop. Glory felt that we should go to Parkway Parade to look for our treasure. We continued to pray and walk around in Parkway Parade, and then we saw a Chinese lady in blue uniform who was a Sales Promoter for Air Fryer. We conversed with her and later realised that she was not our treasure. I told Glory that I sensed that the lady wearing a blue uniform must be a cleaner. As we were walking around, we saw a Chinese lady in a blue uniform with a trolley and holding a mop. We approached her and tried to talk to her. Glory had an impression that she had a relationship issue with her son . She asked her whether she had a son, and she replied, ” yes”. When Glory asked about her relationship with her son, the lady was very cautious and hesitated to answer us. She rejected us when we asked whether we could pray for her need. I presume that she must be afraid to share more about her son with a stranger. I believe a seed has been planted in her heart about her son.
