Two weeks ago, while walking back to my block after breakfast, I met an elderly uncle at the void deck who greeted me. At first, I had difficulty understanding what he was saying until I got closer. His helper then translated that he was wishing me a good morning, so I greeted him back.
During our brief conversation, I learned that he had suffered a stroke, which left him with limited mobility on the left side of his body. He shared that he lives in the block with his wife and helper. I commented on how fluent his English was, and he mentioned that he was born and raised in Singapore and educated in an English school.
He then asked if I was Singaporean as well. I replied that I am, and that I am also a descendant of Israel. Our conversation continued, and we started talking about the situation between Israel and Iran. As we spoke, I felt prompted to ask if I could pray for him, and he agreed. I prayed for God’s healing over his body.
After the prayer, I asked him to try lifting his left hand. At first, he was unable to do so. I then gently lifted his hand a couple of times, and eventually, he managed to raise it halfway using his own strength before saying he felt too tired. We ended our conversation on a positive note before parting ways. Although I did not see a full recovery, I believe that healing had already begun within him.
During my cell group’s praise and worship session a few days later, I had a vision of a left leg with swelling around the mid-calf area. Initially, I thought it might belong to another member who had previously declined prayer. Still, I felt prompted to share the vision and prayed for that condition.
After the session, one of the members approached me and said that the vision was about her leg. I continued to pray for her during our fellowship time. She noticed that the swelling in her left calf had reduced slightly and that the pain had eased.
The next day, I ran into her at a restaurant near the church we attend. She told me that the hardness in her left leg had completely softened and that she no longer felt any pain. Praise the Lord for His healing. Hallelujah!
