I was supposed to leave at 630am for a meeting. Got late and left at 7am.
Walking to the bus stop I missed both my buses 🤦🏻♀️. I bumped into an incredibly fit senior citizen.
Told her I missed both my buses adding it must not be God’s timing to catch those buses.
We spoke and she shared pictures of double rainbows 🌈 over home in Hawaii. It was a perfect rainbow and literally covered her home. So told her His covering is over her home and family.
I briefly mentioned how the rainbow came about. She was nodding her head. I continued to share that the earth won’t be destroyed with water but with fire and asked her ‘Where will you be? Up there or in the fire 🔥? She said ‘Of course up there la.’ I asked her what made her so sure? She said ‘What’s the point of all the good work I do here on earth then?’
I shared that her no amount of good work is gonna save us. We are all sinners. Even if we do good work, we are still sinners. Only Jesus can save. She was nodding her head.
She asked which church I went to and I told her, and whipped out the service timing card to give to her and encouraged her to visit our website.
At that moment, my bus came and that paused our conversation for the moment as we each went on with our day.
A seed sown. Prayers for it to be watered before a soul is won for Jesus Christ.
