Touched by the Love of God

Sharon and I prayed and received a vision of a café. Sharon sensed it could be located at a nearby mall. I sensed it could be at another place.

We proceeded to another mall nearby and headed to Level 2. There were no cafes there but some tables and chairs were there. We decided to sit there for a while and asked the Holy Spirit to show us. Both of us did not sense any specific and we decided to move around in the shopping mall.

Just as we were about to approach local eatery stall direction, I stopped at a small Nonya pop up stall selling Nonya kuehs at a corner. I was casually asking about the kuehs and the salesperson was very friendly and earnestly trying to sell the kuehs to me. After buying two items from her, I felt nudged inside my heart. I then conveyed that Jesus loves her and understands her hardship to come over to Singapore to work. The salesperson was from China. She was all alone and started out working less than two weeks ago.

I was just saying how today is “dongzi” day, when families usually gather to eat dongzi, celebrate love and warmth during winter, and welcome blessings for the coming year – plus, it means we’ve all grown a year older. But here she is, alone in a foreign country, working. It was rough for her. I told her that Jesus knows her heart and just wants her to know that He loves her. I asked if she would like me to pray for her, she said ‘yes’ and held my hands. After praying, she felt touched and kept thanking me for being so warm to her.

We are just glad that God uses us to understand people and warm their hearts.
