Salvation

Our group of six went to PLQ to look for our “treasure.” We began with a short prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to lead us. Shortly after the prayer, I had the impression of “Wok Hey,” and Sharon had the initials “W.H.” So the two of us paired up and headed there.

We waited there for some time but to no avail. Somehow, I felt prompted to approach a young lady who was sitting across from Wok Hey on her lunch break. She had been there the entire time we were waiting for our treasure. Sharon and I approached her and started a conversation.

During our exchange, she shared that she is a Christian but was unsure of her salvation, as she could not remember ever saying the Sinner’s Prayer. We took the opportunity to share the Gospel with her and asked if she would like to invite Jesus into her life as her Lord and Saviour.

Using the Four Spiritual Laws tract, we guided her through the Salvation Prayer. We then blessed her and prayed for her before parting. We also gave her a copy of the church’s service schedule. Shortly after we left, she sent a message to the church to thank us for praying for her.

It was a simple act but precious reminder of how the Holy Spirit leads when we step out in faith.
