I received a vision of a pair of sneakers with blue and red stripes that formed the letter “A,” or a logo similar to a brand like Asics. After praying, I received this word of knowledge: a young or middle‑aged person who is limping in pain while walking, specifically with pain or an injury in the left shin.
So, together with three others, we set off to find the treasures that God had given to each of us that day. We walked along the road towards i12Katong.
We saw several people wearing almost similar design of the shoes like in my vision on the streets today but nothing come as close as to my picture God has given me. I didn’t find my treasure during that walk.
However, while I was on the train home, I noticed something familiar out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head to the left and, in the opposite cabin, I saw a pair of sneakers with blue and red stripes on white canvas.
I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit if this was the person He wanted me to reach out to. The cabins were crowded, and my view was blocked by a couple, so I couldn’t tell if the person was male or female. I then asked the Holy Spirit that if this was truly the person God wanted me to approach, he or she would alight at the same station as me.
At every stop, I opened my eyes slightly to peek at the person wearing the blue and red striped shoes. My heart was pounding, and I kept wondering, “What if this isn’t the one?” Even so, I continued praying softly in tongues under my surgical mask. Finally, when I reached my station, I saw the woman in the blue and red striped sneakers alight at the same stop as me.
I followed behind her and noticed that she was limping as she walked. After we exited the control station, I approached her and asked where she had bought her shoes. She was very friendly and even gave me three places where I could find that brand, along with the price. Finally, I asked if she had any injury on her left leg, as I had noticed her limping from behind.
That’s when she told me she has plantar fasciitis in both feet, which the doctor couldn’t operate on, and that she has a sharp pain in her left shin. I introduced myself and shared that I’m a Christian, and that earlier that day I had received a vision from God about someone with leg pain. At first, she was sceptical and thought I might be a scammer (I honestly felt like facepalming 🤦♀️ myself inside). But when I quickly showed her the picture I had drawn earlier, she seemed a bit more at ease. I then asked if she would like me to pray for healing, and she said yes.
After praying, I asked her how she felt, and she said, “Okay.” I prayed for her again and encouraged her to lift her leg and see if there was any difference. She replied that it felt much better. I gave her our church service card and invited her to join our Filipino service at Orchard, as she sounded Filipino during our conversation. But she told me she already attends her own Filipino charismatic church. I was happy to hear that and encouraged her to give thanks and glory to God for her healing before we went our separate ways.
